| During the 1960s, Ferrari began producing smaller-capacity sports racing cars and named them 'Dino'. They were even sanctioned and entered as a separate entity to events such as Le Mans. The Dino 246 GT was an evolution of the Dino 206 GT, with a larger V6 engine and a wheelbase lengthened by 60 mm.
