410 SUPERAMERICA

By the mid-1950’s, North America was fast becoming Ferrari's most important market. In honor of this, Ferrari named some exclusive models “America,” “Superamerica” and “California.” The Lampredi-engined 410 Superamerica was simply the ultimate Grand Touring car of its day.

Part of Ferrari's 'flagship' America series, 410 Superamerica offered the highest levels of sophistication, exclusivity and performance. Built as the ultimate grand touring car, each was custom ordered, resulting in unique bodies. Many were made for auto shows or Ferrari's best clients. There were only three very limited series of the model produced between 1956 and 1959.
