Newsletter n° 6/2010

Dear Collector,

Hot Wheels EliteTM is pleased to share with you the latest news!

Ferrari in Music Collection. Music to Your Eyes and Ears!

The new 512 S owned by Nick Mason, well-known drummer of the legendary rock band Pink Floyd, is now available. In 1970, Mario Andretti, Ronnie Peterson and Arturo Merzario raced as drivers and the car also appeared in the 1971 movie Le Mans with Steve McQueen. “Performance cars, and Ferrari in particular, tend to be at the leading edge of excellence and innovation and the 512 S is no exception”, stated Mason.

Ferrari in Music Limited Edition Collection (no more than 5,000 pieces) celebrates the intersection of Ferrari and music. Each model comes on an individually numbered plinth with dedicated packaging including the artist’s signature, pictures and a memorable leaflet with a quote from the artist. This is a true exclusive!

Don’t miss this unequalled car produced in 1:18th scale with painstaking detail! Learn more.

Scuderia Ferrari F1 Drivers’ Championship Collection – M. Hawthorn

Hot Wheels EliteTM continues to impress with the 1:43 scale launching of Scuderia Ferrari F1 Drivers’ Championship Collection. This collection takes Ferrari fans on a tour through sport and Prancing Horse history with replicas of winning Ferrari Formula One cars from 1952 to 1975. The 246 F1 that Mike Hawthorn raced at the Morocco GP in 1958 is now available for all Ferrari enthusiasts and collectors! Read more.

Presented at the Paris Motor Show in October 1963, this was the Berlinetta version of the 250 P prototype. It was designed by Pininfarina and coach-worked by Scaglietti. Only thirty-two cars were built, making it one of the most valuable and rare cars in the world. This Hot Wheels EliteTM model reproduces the Ferrari 250 LM as it was raced in the 1965 Sebring 12-hour race by Mark Donohue and Walt Hansgen. This highly detailed 1:18 scale reproduction is sure to please Ferrari fans around the world. The same model is also available in the #7 livery as driven by Graham Hill and Jo Bonnier, who both won the Reims 12 Hours in 1964. Don’t miss it! Read more.
